Amanda E. Fujiki, MD

Bio: Amanda Fujiki, MD, earned her medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She also completed general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Her areas of interest include understanding the connection between medical and psychiatric conditions and creating educational materials for medical students, families and caregivers. Dr. Fujiki has created educational materials on ADHD for ADMSEP(Association of Directors of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry) and has made multiple media appearances as a spokesperson of the Love, Your Mind campaign in collaboration with Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the Ad Council. Dr. Fujiki has also published articles exploring the interaction between psychiatric conditions and voice and upper airway disorders. Dr. Fujiki practices clinically as an inpatient child and adolescent psychiatrist at the University of Utah’s Huntsman Mental Health Institute. She is board-certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
